Christina Ricci is an American actress who was born on February 12, 1980, in Santa Monica, California. She began her acting career at a very young age, appearing in commercials and television shows such as “Mermaids” and “The Addams Family.”
Ricci’s breakthrough role came in 1995 when she starred as the dark and brooding Wednesday Addams in the hit movie “The Addams Family.” She went on to reprise the role in the sequel, “Addams Family Values.” She has also starred in several other films, including “Casper,” “Now and Then,” “Sleepy Hollow,” and “Monster.”
She has been nominated for several awards throughout her career, including a Golden Globe nomination for her role in the television series “Pan Am.”
Aside from acting, Ricci is also an advocate for mental health awareness and has spoken publicly about her own struggles with anxiety and depression. She has also been involved in various charitable organizations, including RAINN (the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network) and the Rape Treatment Center in Santa Monica.
