- Despicable Me (2010) – Directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud, this movie introduces us to the character of Gru (voiced by Steve Carell), a supervillain who plans to steal the moon. Along the way, he adopts three orphaned girls and realizes that there’s more to life than just being evil.
- Despicable Me 2 (2013) – This sequel continues the story of Gru and his three daughters as they team up with the Anti-Villain League to stop a new super-villain named Eduardo (voiced by Benjamin Bratt) who has a personal connection to Gru’s past.
- Minions (2015) – This movie is a prequel to the Despicable Me franchise and follows the origins of the Minions, a group of small, yellow creatures who have existed since the beginning of time and have been searching for the ultimate evil master to serve. In the movie, they set out on a journey to find a new villain to follow, and eventually end up working for Scarlet Overkill (voiced by Sandra Bullock), the world’s first female supervillain.
- Despicable Me 3 (2017) – In this movie, Gru meets his long-lost twin brother Dru (also voiced by Steve Carell) and together they plan a heist to steal a diamond from a villain named Balthazar Bratt (voiced by Trey Parker), a former child star who has turned to a life of crime.
- Minions the Rise of Gru (2022): The untold story of one twelve-year-old’s dream to become the world’s greatest supervillain.
