- Rocky (1976): Directed by John G. Avildsen, this movie stars Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa, a small-time boxer from Philadelphia who gets the chance of a lifetime to fight the heavyweight champion of the world, Apollo Creed, played by Carl Weathers.
- Rocky II (1979): Also directed by John G. Avildsen, this movie picks up where the first movie left off and follows Rocky as he tries to find his place in the world after his fight with Apollo Creed. When Creed offers him a rematch, Rocky must train harder than ever before to prove that he’s a true champion.
- Rocky III (1982): Directed by Sylvester Stallone, this movie sees Rocky as the heavyweight champion of the world and living the good life. But when a new challenger, Clubber Lang, played by Mr. T, emerges, Rocky must train with his former rival, Apollo Creed, to regain his title.
- Rocky IV (1985): Also directed by Sylvester Stallone, this movie sees Rocky facing his toughest opponent yet, the Soviet Union’s Ivan Drago, played by Dolph Lundgren. Rocky travels to Russia to train for the fight of his life and defend his country’s honor.
- Rocky V (1990): Directed by John G. Avildsen, this movie sees Rocky retire from boxing and deal with the after-effects of his fights. He becomes the trainer of a young boxer, Tommy Gunn, played by Tommy Morrison, but their relationship turns sour when Tommy becomes too focused on fame and fortune.
- Rocky Balboa (2006): Directed by Sylvester Stallone, this movie sees Rocky coming out of retirement for one last fight against the current heavyweight champion, Mason “The Line” Dixon, played by Antonio Tarver. Rocky proves that he still has what it takes to go the distance in the ring.
- Creed (2015): Directed by Ryan Coogler, this movie focuses on the son of Apollo Creed, Adonis Johnson, played by Michael B. Jordan, as he tries to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a professional boxer. He seeks out Rocky Balboa to train him and help him achieve his dream.
- Creed II (2018): Directed by Steven Caple Jr., this movie sees Adonis facing off against Viktor Drago, the son of Ivan Drago who killed Apollo Creed in the ring years earlier. Rocky must confront his own past and help Adonis prepare for the fight of his life.
- Creed III (2023): This movie will be released on March 3 (2023).
